Change the frame rate of the back camera.

Signature​

void Aila_SetCameraFramerate(int fps);

Parameters​

  • fps - The frame rate to use, in frames per second. Pass -1 to clear the override and return to Aila's default frame rate.

Description​

Overrides the back camera's frame rate. This is intended for non-standard use cases, such as matching the frame rate to the frequency of artificial lighting in countries operating at 50Hz.

Usage​

// Match 50Hz lighting
Aila_SetCameraFramerate(50);

// Return to the default frame rate
Aila_SetCameraFramerate(-1);
warning

A frame rate that doesn't match the frequency of the local artificial lighting (e.g. 50Hz vs 60Hz regional power standards) may cause visible flickering or banding in the video feed.
